Strawberry Ranch is perched at the edge of Strawberry Reservoir, which consistently is voted “Top Blue-Ribbon” fishing in the state of Utah. The lake and connecting streams contain Colorado Cutthroat trout, Rainbow trout, and is one of only a few places where you can snag a Kokanee (Sockeye) Salmon.

Horseback rides and services will be available that will accommodate every riding level. Horse trails are abundant and range from scenic high mountain view trails to 14 mile lake shore trails. Dude ranch experiences will also be available for cattle drives with Strawberry Ranch cowboys.

The barn will also be an ideal place to host large group gatherings such as reunions, receptions, retreats, seminars and concerts.
OUTDOOR ACADEMY
Strawberry Ranch Outdoor Academy plans to offer dozens of courses throughout the year featuring hands-on nature-inspired educational opportunities in art, photography, video editing, graphic design, fishing, outdoor cooking, hiking, climbing, Native-American history, fly-tying, archery, bird watching and more. Courses will cater to people of all ages and individuals, families, or groups.

Strawberry Ranch will feature miles and miles of groomed trails that will wind in and out of tall aspens and dense pine forests, up and down a mix of mild and more challenging mountainscapes, all within eyeshot of lake views unlike anywhere else in the world. It is a hiker’s paradise.
The resort also sits on the trailhead of the Strawberry Shoreline Trail, which runs from Aspen Grove Marina to Renegade Marina through the stunning pine-lined “Narrows” for over 14 miles.
Whether you’re an expert adventurer, a slow stroller, or have “little” hikers in your midst, the diverse and vast expanse has a pathway or two for you.

In addition to the spaces available for use in and around the Activity Barn, two 8,000 sq ft “Grand Lodges” that will sleep up to 40 people will be available to rent for reunions and other group gatherings. We will assist you in organizing a schedule of activities to make your retreat as memorable as possible.

Entertainment options are planned to include an outdoor amphitheater for summer entertainment and shows, a “chuck wagon” dinner and ride, a bluegrass Festival, indoor winter concerts in the Activity Barn and more. A “Strawberry Queen” dinner cruise boat is also planned to tour the Narrows of Strawberry Reservoir during the summer months.

It’s difficult to convey how expansive 3 million acres is. Think of it this way -- It’s around 120 DISNEY WORLDS (without the lines and really expensive churros). Hike, bike, ATV, jeep, or snowmobile to your heart’s content.
